Bucks County Audubon Society will once again be offering the very popular pre-school explorers program for children ages 3 – 5 with a care giver.  Sessions are held Thursday afternoons from 1:00 – 2:30pm and include an outdoor activity, story time and craft.  Program fee for BCAS Members is $60, and $90 if you are not yet a member.  Registration will be capped at 12 participants so sign up early!  Registration required by June 20, 2015. A minimum of eight students must be reached to hold the class.

Summer Semester Themes are: 

• June 25 – Insect Safari! Let’s use our nets to discover what insects live in our fields 
• July 2 – Salamanders! We’ll search Honey Hollow for salamanders and learn about these secretive amphibians
• July 9 – Stream Explore! We’ll visit the stream below the pond to see what lives there. Wear water shoes and prepare to be wet!
• July 16 – Fishing! We’ll see what we can catch in the pond and learn about fish.  You can bring your own pole – we use barbless hooks and release everything we catch. 
• July 23 – Hopping Grasshoppers! Learn all about these super jumpers!

July 30 – Caterpillar to Butterfly! Find out about the lifecycle of butterflies!
