PAVILION AREA:
11:00 – 11:30 AM – Opening Ceremony and Blessing Chief Chuck DeMund will conduct a blessing and provide the public with an introduction to the Lenape Nation and the relationship to Chief Tamanend.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Music by Jim Beer Jim is a Lenape musician who is well known in Native American music circles and who has produced several CD’s of traditional and originally composed Lenape music.
12:00 & 1:00 PM – Farmhouse Tour Tours will be given by Jim Day, Southampton Historical Society.
12:30 – 3:00 PM – Dance Circle The dancing will begin with the traditional entry of the dancers (in regalia). Dances throughout the day will include traditional men’s and women’s dances, a variety of intertribal dances in which the public is encouraged to participate.
