Paste Magazine calls The Whiskey Gentry a toe-tapping, steamrolling kind of band, its fingers picking deep into fields of bluegrass, feet stomping in line with a punk-inspired kick drum. Formed in 2009 by husband and wife duo Lauren Staley and Jason Morrow, The Whiskey Gentry put on a commanding high energy live performance,
setting the bar for the way todays country music ought to sound: honest, tight, daring and void of pretension.
Local favorites The Whiskeyhickon Boys get the party started with their improvised bluesy/skiffle rocking interpretations of folk and roots influences.

ABOUT IVYLAND
Ivyland is designated as a National Historic District and is filled with many charming and interesting Victorian structures. Ivyland, with roughly 1000 residents, is one of smallest Boroughs within the state of Pennsylvania. Many unique features still exist today including the Hotel at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Gough Avenue; A Grain Mill, which still stands intact, at Greeley and Wilson Avenues; a Country Store which has been in operation since the early days on Gough Avenue and even the Ivyland Presbyterian Church at the corner of Gough and DuBois Avenue. It should be noted that we are the other end of the New Hope Ivyland Railroad. Many of the streets denote the names of early temperance leaders of the time. Our Borough Offices and Meeting Hall reside at the large White House at the end of Pennsylvania Avenue. Not to be left out we have our own School House and Fire Company which we managed to preserve over all these years. We hope you will come and learn more about rich history of this beautiful community that stands against all odds as a view of the past in a modern age. Step back 140 years and enjoy our community with us.
ABOUT IVYLAND HERITAGE ASSOCIATION
The Ivyland Heritage Association is designed to recognize the heritage of Ivyland Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and to preserve and enhance this heritage for the benefit of present and future generations of Ivyland residents. It will endeavor to coordinate and cooperate with all other community groups operating in the Borough, to support the preservation of the existing community traditions while working to revitalize others. It will also seek to establish new events and activities for the benefit and enjoyment of all present and future residents and, in general, will work to improve the overall quality of life in Ivyland
Event is free. Additional fees apply for special events during the day i.e., food, train rides, etc.

Legendary bassist and Musicians Hall Of Fame inductee Billy Cox is synonymous with almost any reference to Jimi Hendrix. Along with drummer Buddy Miles, theyre forever etched in music history with the Band Of Gypsys, the power trio that fused blues and hard rock. They started as sidemen for prominent blues and RnB acts prior
to playing Woodstock, Isle Of Wight, among other legendary performances. Billys latest album Old School Blue Blues returns to traditional blues, paying homage to the music that he grew up with. He also co-authored the books, JIMI HENDRIX SESSIONS and ULTIMATE HENDRIX.

Ive been going wild, like the river runs. And Im afraid that this rambling has only just begun. So sings Ward Hayden, singer/songwriter of Girls Guns and Glory, on the bands new album Sweet Nothings (Lonesome Day, 2011). These words, found in the song Snakeskin Belt, are an apt introduction to the band itself. Girls Guns and
Glory is a celebration of sweet and tasty, fun lovin and hard timin, honky tonk music that is simultaneously casual and complex. The band combines elements of early rock n roll, country, and rhythm & blues to deliver its own brand of American Roots music that satisfies like homemade apple pie.
Girls Guns and Glory is the brainchild of Lonesome Day recording artist Ward Hayden. Hayden formed GGG in the Winter of 2005 and within 2 weeks of the groups formation they entered Noise in the Attic Studios to begin a prolific period of recording. Releasing 3 critically acclaimed full-length albums in as many years (Fireworks & Alcohol 2006; Pretty Little Wrecking Ball 2007; Inverted Valentine 2008). Haydens original compositions conjure the palpable ache of a crushed heart; they touch on themes of love lost and hope found, and their words alone could be published in anthologies of poetry. Hayden recalls that once he got on stage with GGG, he found he had never felt more comfortable doing anything else. Performing quickly became an addiction, and it is due in part to his efforts on and off stage that GGG is now an internationally touring band, named Independent Artist of the Year at the French Country Music Awards, and two-time winner of both the Roots Act of Year (Boston Phoenix Awards) and Americana Act of the Year (Boston Music Awards). GGG is also the only band of its genre to ever take home the top honors of Act of the Year (Boston Music Awards) and to win the legendary WBCN Rock n Roll Rumble

Levee Drivers' music embodies the sounds of old country souls being reborn into tomorrow's rock. Their music is a modern take on the story-telling of Johnny Cash, driven by early country and blues roots with a startling vocal rendition likened to a cross of Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams. Levee Drivers embrace an eclectic mix
of sound that engages listeners of all ages and across many genres. They were named "Best of Philly Rising" 2007 by World Cafe Live. Levee Drivers also became the winners of the 2009 Beta Hi-Fi Festival hosted by World Cafe Live, a multi-night music competition with voting by the audience and a panel of judges. In 2010, Levee Drivers won the Deli Magazine "Best Philly Emerging Artist Poll" and came in 9th in the overall contest and were up again for the 2011 "Best Philly Emerging Artist". And recently in 2013, took home the Tri-State Indie Music Award for "Best Indie/Folk Americana Band" in the Tri-State Area.

Carrying on the legacy of DJANGO REINHARDT, The Young Lions of Gypsy Jazz will take your breath away with their brilliant virtuosity, fast and furious rhythm and their romantic interpretations of new and traditional songs. The group's unofficial leader, European guitar sensation Samson Schmitt, grew up in Strasbourg as part of
the Manouche gypsy culture and the son of legend Dorado Schmitt. He's joined by Parisians Ludovic Beier (accordion and accordina), Pierre Blanchard (violin), Doudou Cuillerier (rhythm guitar and vocalist) and Brian Torff (bass and played with Reinhardt's gypsy jazz partner, violinist Stephane Grappelli). This is HOT JAZZ at its best!

No Cover / Happy Holidays / Ronstadt Generations represents the multi-cultural roots America was founded upon. Dating back five generations in North America, Michael J. Ronstadt, younger brother of Linda Ronstadt, continues the family tradition with his two sons, Michael G. and Petie. ÿ These three voices -- all multi-instrumentalists
and solo artists in their own right -- bring to life a repertoire that reaches back to the end of the 19th century while continually looking ahead into the 21st, with a rich innovation of original material alongside traditional Southwestern and Mexican songs. ÿ Each comes with the highest credentials, having appeared around the world in performance and on recordings with such diverse artists as Linda Ronstadt, Los Lobos, the Dixie Hummingbirds, Muriel Anderson, and countless others. ÿ Enjoy a fascinating musical journey with Ronstadt Generations. An engaging and educational experience spanning musical genres and eras! Caryn Lin starts with the simplicity and origins of the solo acoustic violin demonstrated by performing a Bach minuet. Whisked to the present, Caryn uses the five string electric violin and sound effects to transcend that "solo" sound by "looping," which
is creating sound loops live to which she adds and embellishes, playing live duos and trios with herself. This three dimensional sound magic is performed right before your eyes as audiences of all ages are captivated and eager to participate!

$10 / Hailing from Bucks County PA Four The Day is suitable for listening over your favorite beverage... and in the company of your favorite people. But where did it all begin? It's amazing who you meet at a party... especially when you're in costume. It was Halloween 2008 at a dual house party and over an aging acoustic guitar
that Alan Chewning and Ray Milora had a chance, musical encounter. The two spent a few hours talking music, playing guitar, exchanging song ideas and discussing their mutual respect for craft beer. With backgrounds rooted in original music, and spanning more years than they'd admit, the two quickly began to write material both as part of a then acoustic four-piece and as a duo playing small venues in the Philadelphia area. This would be the point the two also discovered Dale's Pale Ale.. but that's a story for another day. The desire for bass and drums soon took over with both reaching out to longtime friends and former band mates Eric Greener (bass) and Rob Zalewski (drums). July 2009 found the four playing, laughing and working together to create what has become Four The Day. Sharing song writing duties across the band has kept the ideas flowing and guys melding into a solid live-performance driven band. The music provides the energy whether playing in front of a sold-out crowd at band-favorite Puck in Doylestown PA, or just for themselves in their practice space "the Cheesepit". FTD released their first demo in December 2009 titled the BDF Studio Sessions. Interested in getting a copy? Contact ray@fourtheday.com. ...and then came 2011, and a big step forward for Four The Day. Lehigh Valley PA pianist, composer, improviser, home brewer and lifelong friend Dan DeChellis joined the band. Dan, Rob and Ray have been friends since high school, and opportunity has finally smiled upon them to perform together! Dan began piano studies at age five, received his Master's in classical piano and studied at the New England Conservatory working closely with legendary composer/pianist Ran Blake, Paul Bley and improviser Masashi Harada. A musicians musician plays extensively throughout North Eastern PA. Does this mean FTD will be bustin out a jazz standard at their next show&? Puck no! ... we're just gonna kick is up a few notches, so hang on ! Love live music? Do yourself a favor and catch a Four The Day live show. You'll be glad you did. $10.00

$20 / Trespass -The music of Genesis, is a tribute to the early years of the British progressive rock band Genesis. The songs are culled from the dawning of the groups popularity with Peter Gabriel fronting the band, covering songs from the albums "Nursery Cryme," "Foxtrot," "Selling England by the Pound" and "The Lamb Lies Down
On Broadway." Trespass performs this wonderfully complex music with an emphasis on presenting the layered sounds of the original recordings, as well as the excitement of well-crafted live presentation. Trespasss new lineup features the delicious talents of Brian Filone (Vocals/Flute), Michael LaBuono (Keyboards), the fabulous Britton brothers Marc (Guitars) and Flip (Bass/Guitars) and Brian BP Powers (Drums). With the musical excellence of Michael, Marc, Flip and BP along with Brian Filone's very Gabrielesque vocals, flute and stage theatrics (including various batwings, hats, flowerhead, capes, masks, props, puppets, and clever song introduction stories) "Trespass-The Music of Genesis" is a must see show for fans of the extraordinary music of Genesis. $20.00

She earned top prizes at some of the most prestigious songwriting competitions in the country and the Washington Post declared Liz is destined for a larger audience." Even John
Mayer is a fan, calling her music gorgeous, simply gorgeous. A Philadelphia native, Liz has performed with many artists at ST94, including Livingston Taylor and will celebrate the release of her fourth album.
Dan May's career path has taken more twists and turns than a corkscrew in a hurricane; he's worked as a grave digger, TV cameraman, short order cook, nuclear missile security guard, gas station attendant, ice cream truck driver, amusement park worker and greenhouse laborer... all before the age of 25. Since his crossover from classical to popular music, Dan released three critically acclaimed albums.

Free Friday / No Cover / December 2011 saw the release of When You Come Home, the debut solo CD/LP from Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey based songwriter, musician and producer Pete Donnelly. Donnelly, who was a member of the legendary band NRBQ, is also a founding member of The Figgs, which has a world-wide fan base, a hearty discography,
and has toured and recorded several times with Graham Parker. As the ever active bass player and song writer in The Figgs, founded in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. in 1987, Donnelly has spent the better part of the past 25 years touring with the band, as well as a number of other artists such as Soul Asylum, Mike Viola & The Candy Butchers and Tommy Stinson, Living in the Philadelphia area for the past decade, when not on the road, Pete Donnelly has been writing, performing, engineering and/or producing for a variety of artists, including John Legend, Sub Pop artist Death Vessel, G. Love & Special Sauce, Carsie Blanton, The Capitol Years, Amos Lee and Ben Arnold, to name a few. The critics regarded When You Come Home as a killer album, with famed WFMU DJ Bob Brainen including it (along with the latest NRBQ record) among his album picks for 2011. WYCH was included in Premier Radios Steve Reynolds Top 20 albums for 2011. Boston radio show Bubbles in the Think Tank has When You Come Home in its list of favorite albums of 2011. When You Come Home is a watershed record in Pete Donnellys prolific music career. The 14 tracks were recorded mostly at Henry Hirschs Waterfront Studio in Hudson NY; with Fred Berman(Amos Lee) on Drums, and Adam Winokur on Bass; and then over a period of two years in different cities and studios, and with an assortment of top-notch players including Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum), Britta Phillips (Luna, Dean and Britta), Jonn Savannah (Van Morrison, Squeeze) and Mike Gent (the Figgs, The Gentlemen) . Built upon catchy and sturdy melodies, and played with a genuine sense of care, Donnellys songs are testaments to his artistry, each inspired in part by all of the musicians hes had an opportunity to work with No cover charge!

It's summer and Sister is NOT happy. It seems the diocese has decided to offer a summer school catechism course for students who weren't paying attention all year. Instead of three relaxing weeks at the motherhouse, Sister is stuck with her students this summer! Summer is already rough enough for Sister you try wearing all
that gabardine and habit in 90 degree heat! Sister will discuss summertime classics like baseball, summer movie blockbusters, the latest trashy summer reading, staycations on a budget versus vacation if you live in the rectory and the best way to make use of your summer season! Beat the heat with Sister this summer and if you know what's good for you, don't be late!

A collaborative effort founded in the roots of acoustic music, Julian and Chris live at the nexus of improvisation, spontaneous composition and virtuosic refinement performed on their pre-war Martin guitars.
