Our summer horse camp gives children between the ages of 5 and 14 the opportunity to participate in the world of horses. Our students learn not only horse riding skills, but emphasis is placed on horsemanship skills that develop riders into safe, responsible, and educated equine enthusiasts. We place great emphasis on matching the rider with his/her mount to create the most beneficial learning environment. Our CPR and First Aid certified staff ensure a safe and fun experience for our campers. Every Friday, the campers invite their friends and family to watch as they show what they learned in our Free Friendly Camp Horse Show.

Snipes Farm and Education Center provides year-round programs for people of all ages on an historic working farm. Farm Summer Camps give children the hands-on opportunity to learn about the beauty, science, art and work that go into growing food. Campers cook with ingredients that they have harvested from the fields or orchard. There are two weeks each of farm & arts and farm & science camps in separate sessions for 6-8 year olds and 9-11 year olds. The Future Farmers program for 12-14 year olds will, in addition to farm activities, include the challenge of building an outdoor bread oven together. Pre-schoolers and their parents can enjoy the Little Sprouts Program three mornings a week in the month of July.
