At Success rehabilitation, one of our focuses is on community involvement for persons living with brain injury. This holiday season we have chosen to give back to A Woman’s Place: A nonprofit domestic violence organization in Bucks County, PA. Success has been busy hand painting boxes with our clients. We are filling them with care items for the winter weather. We will be donating the hand painted gift boxes on December 21st 2017. Local Artist and Success employee Areli Pellegrino, along with a team of staff and our brain injury community will be donating these gift boxes to A Woman’s Place. As you may already know, studies indicate that women are most frequently the target of domestic violence. There is a 92% rate of blows to the head, which can lead to a TBI and CTE. Yet women who have been domestically abused are still an under-served population. In an effort to create a warm holiday spirit, and bring awareness to our community regarding the link between brain injury and domestic violence, we are creating these holiday “Hope boxes”.

“The Success Rehabilitation community shares one simple, unifying mission: Creating new opportunities with those who have experienced brain injury - one individual, one family, one Success at a time.”
