<b>COVID-19 UPDATE: Although Conquering Cuisine is not currently hosting cooking classes, they are offering wonderful Ready-to-Go Meal Packages with curbside pickup in Doylestown! </b><br><Br>Conquering Cuisine means understanding all aspects of food. For over 10 years, Denis has been the principal instructor at Carlow Cookery, a gourmet kitchenware shop and cooking studio. In that time, he conducted an extensive selection of cooking classes, bringing the culinary world to participants by showcasing the ingredients, recipes and techniques needed to make a wide variety of dishes. Now, he has moved to a brand new, state-of-the art studio dedicated to cooking classes and gourmet catering. Conquering Cuisine offers demonstration classes, hands-on classes, wine tasting and pairing, and kids cooking classes. Conquering Cuisine also offers fun and delicious trips to iconic food destinations. Each of our trips begins with a complimentary continental breakfast and includes luxury coach transportation and guide from the shop to help you navigate and maximize your trip. The bus will take you from spot to spot and you will be given an itinerary providing information about each location. It is a fun and relaxing way to eat, drink and shop with other foodies!

Mastering the flame while enjoying cold beers. Cooking meat over a live flame is may be a primitive style of cooking, but it still can't be beat. The combination of a smoky, caramelized crust and a tender interior is what cooking on the grill is all about. Mastering the flame is not hard but simple tricks will go a long way toward success. Plus, by working with both live flame and propane grills, we'll show how these techniques will work on all grills. Participants in this hands-on class will learn how to grill beef, chicken and how dry rubs, marinades and sauces complement each. The goal of this four-part series of hands-on classes is to teach kids fundamental techniques needed to prepare a variety of basic meals. Along the way we stress kitchen safety and the proper use of and care of cooking tools. Each class will begin with instruction on the recipes being prepared included understanding the ingredients, measurements and procedure. Participants then prepare the items listed in each class with the guidance and supervision of instructors. The menus are designed to stress fresh ingredients and kid-friendly flavors. As the class progress the kids get to eat the dishes they prepare and ask questions. Ages 10 to 12. Part 1: Vegetables - In our first session we stress an Show More...important component of a healthy diet - vegetables. We will teach the kids how to clean, prepare and cook vegetables and turn them into delicious dinners with pasta and rice. Part 2: Fish and Seafood - The task of getting kids to enjoy eating fish is made easier when they are involved in the preparation. We'll focus on fish and seafood that they are most likely eat and prepare it in ways that they will enjoy. Part 3: Meat - This class focuses on techniques that take advantage of the versatility of chicken, beef and pork. After this class, your junior chef will be cooking fabulous dinners in no time. We will saute, simmer and grill to create seasonal dishes. Part 4: Pasta - This class will focus on kneading, rolling, cutting and forming fresh pasta. In addition to cooking chicken, fish and pork we will make sauces and salsas to accompany. Part 4: Wok Cookery - This class focuses on healthy eating and the techniques and ingredients that promote it. We'll talk about how the wok can be a valuable tool in creating these recipes.
