Storybook Musical Theatre, the Abington, PA. based professional Equity children's theatre company, will present its final show of the season with the classic Carlo Collodi tale about growing up, "Pinocchio." from July 16 to July 27 at the Gratz College Theatre, 7605 Old York Rd. in Melrose Park, PA. Storybook's Artistic Director, Patricia Goldberg adapted the book from the Carlo Collodi story with original music by Kevin Arruda. The story follows our young hero as he is transformed from a clumsy, wooden puppet to a young boy after learning the importance of caring for others. Along the way he encounters some misadventures with a sly fox and cat, a conniving carnival owner and a giant whale. Hopefully a little Blue Fairy dust will help him achieve his goal of becoming a real boy for his father Showtimes are July 16, 2024. Weekdays, Tuesday to Friday at 10:30 am and Saturdays at 11 am..
