Class: Beer and Food - American Gastropub
Too often when we think about pairing a beverage with food we automatically think of wine.A great alternative, however, is an American craft brew. These are high quality beers that are small-batched brewed at microbreweries throughout the country.The complexity of the beers and the range of styles make it perfect for enjoying with food. We'll pair four styles of craft beer with four different modern pub offerings to explore how the flavor of each complements the other.

Class: Fine Wine and Food of Italy
In Italy, wine is a way of life. They have been making it for thousands of years and know how to enjoy it. Many fine wines are now exported from Italy and we'll taste and review six different styles including Brunello, Barolo and Chianti.Along the way you'll get a better understanding of how to navigate the complicated Italian wine regions and how they differ. Plus, with a price average price point over $25 per bottle, these wines are all exceptional. In addition to expert wine instruction you will also be treated to a four course meal created by Chef David Kiser to complement the wines.

Parent/Child Cooking Class - Food of Italy
Cooking with your child, enjoying family-friendly recipes and learning more about preparing healthy, delicious meals. In this fun and informative session parent and child will work side-by-side to prep and cook each of the items on the menu with the guidance of the instructor. The recipes are designed to teach basic techniques (knife skills, sauteing, sauce-making, etc.) that are beneficial to all ages. Each of the dishes prepared will enjoyed by the participants throughout the class. All equipment, recipes and ingredients are provided. Class runs approximately 2 hours and is geared for children over 10 years old.

Teen Cooking Class
The foundation of good cooking should be laid early. Proper knife skills, basic food safety, and the primary ways to cook food are important components of learning to cook. The goal of this four-part series of hands-on classes is to teach teens the building blocks by making foods that appeal to them. As with all our kid and young adult classes will we stress kitchen safety and the proper use of and care of cooking tools. Each class will begin with instruction on the recipes being prepared included understanding the ingredients, measurements and procedure. Participants then prepare the items listed in each class with the guidance and supervision of instructors. Class: Homemade Ramen with Traditional Toppings
Ramen is an amazing noodle, especially when made fresh. Cooked and finished with s rich, savory broth and garnished with tender meat, vegetables and egg it goes to another level. The class will start with a light appetizer that we'll have made ahead. You'll prepare a tasty dipping sauce to accompany it. We'll then take start to finish through the process of making each of the components and show you how easy it is to do at home. You'll sit down and enjoy your creation at the end of the class.
