TONIGHT the Doylestown, PA community stands in solidarity with the Orlando community and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning people around the world.
Sunday's massacre at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Florida, targeted LGBTQ people, predominantly people of color, with over half of the 49 murdered being Puerto Rican. Over one third of those in the nightclub were killed or injured in the brutal, hate-driven attack.
Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and to all of the LGBTQ people around the world, who are shaken by this tragedy.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 15th at 8pm at State and Main in Doylestown, as we stand together against this act of senseless violence and hatred, to remember the lives lost early Sunday morning and to send a strong message to our LGBTQ communities and friends that YOU MATTER.
Bring a candle and a friend. All are welcome.
