Doylestown's School of Rock Grand Re-Opening at New Location
Event Date: 9/29/2019   Time: Noon-4pm
Location: 88 S. Main St., Doylestown, PA 18901

School of Rock, a Doylestown-based music school that provides everything from instrumental lessons, to group musical exercises for kids, teens, and adults, this week announced they have moved their facility into a fantastic, spacious new location to accommodate their increasing sign-ups.

Now utilizing a completely renovated, historic 1930s post office that is nestled right in the center of town, School of Rock will be able to host art gallery exhibitions, concerts, and private events for their students and the community at large.

“We’re on a mission to watch our students grow from beginner musicians into confident and inspiring rock stars in their own community,” said Michael Morpurgo Owner of School of Rock Doylestown. “From our guitar, drum and singing lessons to our summer camps and workshops, our unique performance based curriculum enables us to constantly put our students out there on stage. That’s why we needed a new space to make this accommodation.”

The new School of Rock venue will be able to host live and local shows, enabling students to perform their works in front of audiences. Additionally, as part of the expansion, the school has acquired brand new equipment for students to use and practice on during events and lessons.

“Our school is welcome to aspiring musicians of all ages, including adults,” said JP Kuyper General Manager. “We believe music is such a unifying force in our world, which is why we want to invite everyone to come check out our new space this month.”

School of Rock is known for results-driven programs that combine one-on-one lessons with group band practices, earning them the title of “the ultimate music school” in Doylestown and beyond.

School of Rock will celebrate their 10th anniversary in business this October 15, 2019.
