Feasterville-Trevose – September 29, 2015 – Area entrepreneurs and small business owners will converge at The Fuge in Warminster on Thursday, October 22 for a first-of-its-kind small business marketing conference – BucksMont BizCon.

Hosted by SEOMInteractive.com, a digital marketing agency located in Bucks County, and TheBathOutlet.com, an online bathroom accessories retailer in Montgomery County, the day-long event seeks to educate small to medium-sized business owners on topics such as search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, brand awareness development, public relations best practices, traditional advertising methods, email marketing techniques, and more.

The day will be packed with engaging presentations and interactive panel discussions led by some of the area’s most influential marketing gurus, including: Regina Wilson, Agency Development Manager for Google; Jamie Broderick, Founder of White Glove Publicity and of Network Now – a networking organization for women entrepreneurs; and John Walder, B2B Sales Specialist at AWeber.

The event will culminate in an exciting face-off - as four local entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas live in a ‘Shark Tank’-style competition, and vie for their chance to win $5,000 to further their business. The “sharks” include Will Shuhibar, CEO of TheBathOutlet.com; Colleen Mook, CEO of BabyBeHip.com; and Mark Kennedy of SEOMInteractive.com.

“As a small business owner myself, I know first-hand the challenges that exist when building, branding, and marketing a company,” commented Mark Kennedy, SEOM Interactive President. “Even with so many entrepreneurs and small business owners in this area, I quickly realized there wasn’t local forum for us to connect with and learn from each other. Why travel to Philadelphia or New York, when we can network with some of the best and brightest right here in our own backyard? I’m thrilled to finally be able to provide an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and take our businesses to new heights.”

Bucks County Magazine, a publication that highlights the people, art, gardening, homes, dining, fine woodworking, history and entertainment in Bucks County, will be the media sponsor for this event.
