Pearl S. Buck International hosts intercultural and international exchanges through its one-to-one child sponsorship program, National Historic Landmark culture tours of the Pearl S. Buck house, and cross culturally focused seminars and events.

“We are honored to be named a 2018 Top-Rated Nonprofit,” Janet Mintzer, President and CEO of Pearl S. Buck International, said, “We appreciate all the work that GreatNonprofits does to promote our organization’s accomplishments this year, including the introduction of our new Pearl S. Buck: Taking Action Tour and public programming such as our Becoming American: Immigration Film Series and Discussion to help advance cultural appreciation.”

The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is the based on the rating and number of reviews that Pearl S. Buck International received from volunteers, donors, and aid recipients. “Pearl S. Buck International is a positive force in helping heal the wounds in the world caused by poverty and ignorance,” Sandra Carey, a volunteer at Pearl S. Buck International, said.

Buck International is a great example of a nonprofit making a real difference in their community,” Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, said, “Their award is well-deserved recognition not only of their work, but the tremendous support they receive, as shown by the many outstanding reviews they have received from people who have direct experience working with Pearl S. Buck International.”
